We're a welcoming and diverse church in the heart of Stockton's beautiful Country Club neighborhood. Calvary is a community where you'll be welcomed, whether you're new to faith or a life-long follower of Jesus. Read below to find out more about what you can expect.
LIFE GROUPS

The purpose is to foster fellowship, study the Word of God, and encourage one another in the Lord. Our groups meet on various days throughout the week.
Iron man
We are a spiritual fraternity where men are encouraged to pursue growth, discipline, passion, and knowledge of Christ through a commitment to the Holy Spirit’s work of sanctification. We encourage men to lead in our church, friendships, families, marriages, and in our personal lives. We believe we can only lead others to Christ if we are personally following Him. Through various Bible studies, classes, and fellowship events, we spur one another on and build one other up. Using timeless books and edifying conversation, we deepen our understanding of God and his truth. Our fellowship includes not only great food and recreation but serious accountability and prayer.
women of the word (w.o.w.)
We aim to equip and encourage the women of Calvary Church to love God, their families, our church, and the world which desperately needs to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe in Titus 2 relationships where a spiritually mature older woman comes alongside a younger woman in her faith to encourage her in her walk with Christ. We provide opportunities for learning God’s word and the application of it to our lives, building community through various times of fellowship and study, loving and serving one another in our Calvary church body, using our God-given spiritual gifts for the building up of the body of Christ, and reaching out to our lost friends and neighbors with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

mercy ministries
We connect members with practical ways to serve or be served, caring for needs in our church and our neighborhood through local outreach opportunities. We help members share their gifts, talents, and life experiences.
Calvary kids

For PreK through 6th grade - A fun-filled and safe environment during the main worship service where your kids will learn about Jesus. All our kids ministry programs are centered around teaching your kids the Bible in a safe, fun environment. Our kids ministry mission is Equipped. Engaged. Encouraged. Calvary Kids are EQUIPPED to know who Jesus is and follow what Jesus says, ENGAGED by representing Jesus wherever they go and standing up for Jesus so everyone will know, and ENCOURAGED to help others around them and tell others what Jesus has done.
